Everon featured in RainToday case study

Everon News No comments

Everon was recently spotlighted in RainToday’s Case Study Series: What’s Working in Marketing & Selling Professional Services. Mike Cooch, Everon Technology Services CEO, founded Everon six years ago with the goal of helping small businesses take advantage of technology first in mind. Since then, that is exactly what Everon has been committed to.

Mike Cooch hit the ground running right after graduating from Babson with his MBA and quickly became innovator in the managed service industry, building Everon’s foundation on the managed services IT model instead of the traditional, on site hourly consulting and service delivery approach. Cooch knew that in order to grow the multi-million dollar national business he wanted he was going to need to be creative, overcome huge challenges, and be smart about growth.

Throughout the years, Cooch has mastered his approach to develop a Win-Win Business Model for Everon that has been emulated by many other companies. Everon strategically partners with vendors to help better the services they provide, runs on systems and processes, and measures all results. Everon has learned first hand from its own trial and successes and trial and errors. Today, Cooch shares his approach with other managed service providers across the country – and the world – with hopes that they too can be successful in business.

The full case study is available for a limited time on the RainToday website.  Feel free to email sspino@everonit.com for a copy of the entire study.

Important compliance regulation that may affect your business

Everon News No comments

Your organization needs to be MA 201 CMR 17 Compliant by March 1st, 2010

Ensure your organization complies with the new MA 201 CMR 17 Standards for the protection of personal information of residents of the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In our opinion, this regulation affects all businesses

Who does this regulation apply to?  All businesses that collect and retain personal information in connection with the provision of goods and services or for the purpose of employment must comply with the regulation.

I don’t know about you but I don’t know of a single business that does not collect personal information about its employees, copy of a driver’s license, SS#, etc.

It is easier to be compliant than to guess whether or not the regulation applies to your organization!

Everon can provide you with a WISP, an audit, and recommendations to ensure your organization is MA 201 CMR 17 compliant

Everon has created a solution that will allow us to audit your network making specific recommendations for your business to meet compliance before the March 1st deadline.

Everon will also provide you a WISP template that you can customize to meet the needs of your organization ensuring your organization is in compliant with MA 201 CMR 17 before March 30th 2009.

The reality is that all Massachusetts based businesses should go through this easy assessment and process to ensure the security of their data and network. Everon has taken the guess work out of compliance with our easy process.

You must act now to ensure your place on the schedule before the March 1st deadline

We will be working with all of our clients over the next four months to audit networks and customize WISPs so it is important that you do not wait until the last minute. There are hundreds of thousands of businesses that need to comply with this regulation and hundreds of them are Everon clients, please don’t wait to act!

If you’re an Everon client, don’t hesitate to contact your account manager or email your compliance questions to our compliance specialists at: macompliance@everonit.com

If you are one of our clients who is ready to take action and would like to receive a proposal please email compliancenow@everonit.com to ensure your spot on the calendar.
