Need to be in the air AND on the Internet?

Small Business Web Strategies Entry Feed Trackback

As the holiday season quickly approaches, many of us will be looking to visit family and friends across the country…and maybe the world. Unfortunately, the act of travel takes up a lot of time, and not all of us will have time to waste watching movies on planes this holiday season.  With 2009 coming to a close, many workers are pinched for time and cash — trying to reach year end goals at work while also juggling everything else that the upcoming months of November and December bring.

Virgin America has come up with a FREE answer to your problems…

Thanks to Google, they will be offering free Wi-Fi service to all passengers between November 10, 2009 and January 15, 2010.  Virgin America’s Gogo Wi-Fi service was rolled out this past May, but is typically only accessible for a free that is determined by the length of your flight.  For the holidays, it’s a free gift, compliments of Virgin and Google.

Virgin America’s VP of marketing says that they’ve had an overwhelming positive response from travelers in regards to having an in-flight internet option. They are hoping that this holiday offer entices travelers to take advantage of this perk.
